As the owner of Tom Manche Interiors, Tom believes that quality, attention to detail and client satisfaction are the hallmarks of his business. Each client receives the same attention whether the client is re-designing one room or an entire house. He began his business in 1997 and he has completed many exciting residential projects since that time, including out of state and international vacation homes.
Tom has honed his innate ability for style, color selection and space planning through experience and is now considered one of St. Louis’ top interior designers. His work is regularly featured in St. Louis magazines and newspapers and his work can also be seen in two interior design books – French by Design by Betty Lou Phillips and Spectacular Homes of the Heartland.
Tom Manche Interiors designer Tom Manche was the first place winner in the Living Room category of the 2008 Annual St. Louis AT HOME Magazine Architect & Design Award Competition. Although a local competition, the panel of judges consisted of nationally & internationally known interior designers (among them Carolyne Roehm), shelter magazine editors (Sam Grawe of Dwell Magazine and Stephen Drucker of House Beautiful), and professors of architecture from the University of Washington and Yale University.
Tom Manche Interiors is a full service design firm and can take a project from beginning to end by coordinating all aspects of design from architectural drawings to the final placement of furniture & accessories. Tom’s workroom produces window treatments, bed coverings, pillows, bed benches/ottomans, headboards, upholstery, and other custom made items.
He employs painters, tile installers, electricians, carpet layers, carpenters, muralists – whoever is needed to complete a project. These craftpersons are polite, trustworthy and the best in their fields, adding to the good reputation of Tom Manche Interiors.

He often sits on fund raising committees for organizations such as the Arts & Education Council, the Science Center, The Sheldon, the St. Louis Symphony and Dance St. Louis to name a few.
